Not all quiet on the blogging front

Atlantic summer.

Quick update, here. I’m one full year into graduate school, and I’ve had a chance to explore two coasts (pictured) and a million (or so) possible research paths. With all of that, the blog posts have come slowly– but never fear, the writing is still happening.

For recent work, check out my piece on Medium, on how network science and feelings of belonging collide.

Or, read this article by my cohort-mate Priya Shukla. I was totally honored when she asked me to comment on recent research in my field. The paper she reports on, in particular, is one of those guiding-light-type projects that’s helping shape my own research aims.

And stay tuned for more posts this fall. When grad school feels tumultuous as either of these coastlines, putting pen to paper (or, you know, fingertips to keyboard) helps me set things straight.

Pacific school year.
